Meeting of a small town India Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), the popular game show, left him with feelings of inadequacy - not being able to do enough for people - but it has been exceptionally rewarding, Amitabh Bachchan said, confirming that it will host the sixth season of the television too.
"I think we are so ignorant of what the 'real India' is all about," admits Bachchan.
The 69-year-old iconic Indian actor whose feet touched the majority of participants respectfully KBC takes a break from work right now. He revealed in an interview by e-mail with IANS that the November 16 birth of her little girl - the child of his son Abhishek and his daughter in law Aishwarya law - has caused everybody in the household to adjust Bachchan their time around the "little".
From the interview :
Q: How is the interaction with the small town on "Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 5" affected you as a person and as a star?
A: I do not distinguish between a "person" and your reference to "star". To me, they are both the same and equal, and that sums up my interaction with those from the seat of KBC hot in front of me. I want to treat them as I a guest in my house.
I am saddened to learn of the fate of those who come from small towns, the conditions under which they live and their extreme circumstances. It was emotionally very moving to hear their stories and there's a great feeling of inadequacy for not being able to do something for them.
We keep contributing and supporting many causes, but surely the best of their needs is much, much more than we can possibly do. You feel so helpless in their business, but seeing their dynamism, confidence and the will to do better is not just motivation for me as an anchor, but I'm sure, as a spectator and KBC.
I think we are so ignorant of what the "real India" is all about. Yes, you can read about them in the media ... but personally meet, talk to them, be a part of their emotions and thought was the most revealing and at times the most rewarding. Rewarding because we learn a lot from their minds, their beliefs and their sense of morality.
Q: KBC is about knowledge and it is different from films and commercials, have you found a stimulating intellectual experience?
A: Yes, indeed! Knowledge gained from KBC is also a great advantage. But to say that movies and commercials are deprived of this knowledge is not quite correct. Everyone has a beginning, middle and end. They have a story to tell, drama, suspense, emotion, joy and celebration, despair ... In many ways the two entities are quite similar. "Aarakshan", my last film was a great teacher for me in the chapters of the reservation policy and caste. Many other similar films also address topics that are intellectually stimulating.
Q: Will there be a 6 KBC? If so, what do you think should be the focus next time?
A: Yes, I am under contract for another season, to begin in July-August 2012 and, no, I'm not aware of what and where the focus will be on show. It's creative team decided Sony.
Q: Apart from KBC, would you consider a television project to others?
A: Yes, I would.
Q: You signed film is Ashutosh Gowariker. Share something about your role.
A: Yes, I agreed Gowarikar's next film and I play a detective, but that is all I can reveal about the film at this stage. It is planned to be on the floor in the middle of next year.
Q: You played a role in Australian film director Baz Luhrmann "The Great Gatsby", your first international project. How was the experience?
A: Baz Luhrmann and "Gatsby" is a friendly gesture for a minute just a cameo scene in the film. But the experience of working in an international project with such luminaries as Leonardo Di Caprio and Toby Maguire was fantastic. The amount of effort put into the detail and time spent getting every possible angle correctly in the most professional has been extraordinary. My work has been wrapped.
Q: Any plans to sign more international projects?
A: There are no offers at the moment, but they were coming, I would consider them.
Q: How is the atmosphere in the house has changed after the granddaughter came home? What would you call her, if not formally then at home?
A: The atmosphere at home is the one that corresponds to the entry of a new family member of any other house. There is excitement and happiness all around and our time is now adjusted to the small and habits. We do not have a name yet, but soon. Unofficially, she is the "small". - IANS
The suit, filed by the family and Movies Nariman Irani (the creators of the original Don movie of 1978) with Amitabh Bachchan, alleged that the new 2 Don had violated the copyright by adopting the signature tune of Don, the songs from the original Don and also a copy of his script, characters and music without prior intimation, others claiming that the rights of the script was given only for the remake, not for the future.
However, the judge SF Vajifdar, the Court of Bombay has denied the stay on the film's release, citing the lack of theater owners at the hearing and also taking into account the release dates of the film (December 21 December abroad and 23 in India), for which a reservation is already underway.
Moreover, the plaintiffs had also filed for damages to the tune of Rs 200 crore, the court must still decide on the matter said, while ordering the makers of Don 2 to maintain and preserve all accounts relating to the film until the matter was finally disposed of.

HC denies stay on the release of Don 2
Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Shahrukh Khan can breathe a sigh of relief, the reason being the apparent denial of the High Court legal action for breach of copyright that has been filed against manufacturers of Don 2.The suit, filed by the family and Movies Nariman Irani (the creators of the original Don movie of 1978) with Amitabh Bachchan, alleged that the new 2 Don had violated the copyright by adopting the signature tune of Don, the songs from the original Don and also a copy of his script, characters and music without prior intimation, others claiming that the rights of the script was given only for the remake, not for the future.

KARACHI:
Currently, Veena Malik is one of the most talked about people in Pakistan. The star was "disappeared" for two days but returned on Sunday morning, saying it was "resting."
Rumours that Malik staged his own disappearance of advertising have been afloat in Pakistan, while the Indian media had reports that the actor had fled the country in a burka, after over staying his visa. But Malik is in India and said she was staying at a hotel in Bombay "to plant". "I had some free time available to me and since I worked for the last 48 hours, I checked into a hotel and went to sleep."
"When I awoke, I saw that there were many calls and text messages on my cell phone," she adds.
PR Manager Sohail Rashid said earlier that the last text he received from her was on December 16th at 4:24. Regarding Malik answers, "I'm not saying people around me what I will do my downtime. However, I think I called my mother after checking into the hotel and told him I was very tired. "
While speaking to issue a visa extension, which gained immense publicity in the media in recent days, the star said: "The hype visa issue that was created is wrong. If I am in a neighboring country, I'm here legally. I think I am old enough to take care of me and before assuming that I was kidnapped and murdered, the media should have thought of that. "
Meanwhile Veena had received death threats because of his controversial firing in FHM magazine India, but the actor said: "First, I do not get any death threats. I am safe and my family is safe. As far as shooting is concerned, do not wear bikinis CIA and American girls painted on their bodies? This is exactly what happened here. It was the idea of Kabeer Sharma and we did for fun. People should not take this seriously. "
According to the star, "The controversy was fueled by the Western media which misreported my daring act that" Muslim girl has posed nude. I did not pose nude, I did a shoot bold. I live on my own terms, I have the courage to do what I want to do and people should support her or not sit still. BBC reported that I said "Pakistan is a country the Stone Age" which is a misinterpretation of my words again. What I meant was, "the world is still stuck in the stone age, not just in Pakistan." I meant that modernization has to do with your mindset and not just technological advances. "
The actor goes on to say that the pictures of her in the magazine have been transformed, and when asked if she will go to court, Veena is emphatic: "Yes, I'm not going back now. I've played. "
The star believes his high-profile fans in Pakistan will accept it once the controversy settled. "A lot of corrupt politicians were allowed to live in my country, so why not me?"
Malik states, "Our entertainment industry in the world should ask," Why can not Pakistani women dress the way she wants? "There are so many Indian models wearing bikinis Muslim girls but Pakistan can not - because Pakistani girls have never exercised their right. I am the one who took this initiative."
